An annual event, National Day of the Cowboy celebration at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center, offers free admission on this day. This year it will be Saturday, July 27 (it’s always the fourth Saturday in July). 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fun, family activities, children’s games, live music, Oklahoma authors and an Oklahoma basketry artist will keep things lively at the 2019 celebration.
