THE MAY DAY CELEBRATION AT THE PRAIRIE HOUSE HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO FAMILY ILLNESS OUT OF STATE. EVERYONE’S THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE APPRECIATED. PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR FUTURE EVENTS.

Due to my only brother’s extreme health condition that has arisen in the last two weeks, and his need for drivers to get him to and from Dallas daily, I am going to be out of pocket for a while. After conferring with Board members, we have agreed to simply cancel the planned events for Saturday May 3, at the Prairie House. I am making preparations to go to Greenville, Tx. early Wednesday morning, following the Main Street Banquet that will be held in Oklahoma City tomorrow night.
My brother Doyle was diagnosed with cancer 16 days ago. After 10 days the size of the large tumor had almost doubled. It is strangling his spinal cord. He is receiving heavy pain medication, along with oral Chemo, and getting radiation in Dallas each day for the next two weeks. Their son in law has been driving them, but now his own father must go for a bone marrow test on May 2nd, so I am going to help them with the daily drive, and whatever else I can do.
I hope and pray that all of you will pitch in and offer to help Sharleen Johns since Bobby Richardson, our Vice- President, is currently ill himself. To volunteer your assistance, contact Sharleen at 255-4199 or Cell # _________.
Sharleen will have the schedule, and a key for whatever. I will have my cell number with me, but will be out of touch between now and about May 10th.
Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.
